at the brink of the water & it was presumed he died of heart failure. His death caused a great sensation in the parish. He is buried in the Chapel yard in Churchill and a beautiful marble tombstone marks his grave. The stone was erected by the people of the Parish in token of the great regard he was held in by his parishioners. He was a native of the town of Killarney.

New seats were placed in the Church in Churchill in Summer of 1936 and also a new tiled passage made up the centre the same year.
