  1. On the hill of Keash in the neighbourhood of this school there is a green hollow called "leabhaidh na glaise."
    This is supposed to be the bed of an enchanted cow which once grazed in this district. This cow always gave a great quantity of milk. But once she was milked into a sieve as it was said that she would fill any vessel into which she was milked. As might be expected the milk flowed out of the sieve and down the side of the hill, leaving green tracks still to be seen. When the woman stopped milking, the cow disappeared and was never seen in this locality again.
