  1. There was a man in America whose name was James McDonagh and who dreamt three nights that there was a pot of gold hidden in the ruins of an old church which is situated about a hundred yards from our house, but is in Patrick Henry's land.
    He dreamt that there was a black cat minding it and that he was accustomed to go to meet another black cat in England every May morning before the sun would rise.
    Mr James McDonagh was supposed to bring a man named O'Connor with him and the two of them to be there on May morning before the sun would rise.
    May morning came and Mr McDonagh and O'Connor were there about a hlaf an hour before the sun arose. They had just found the pot of gold
