The Story of a Rock

In the townland of Phaleesh there is a rock and there is a story told about it. This rock is placed in Batty Murray's hill. It is said there was a giant named Tom Thumb. It is said he stood on the top of Keash hill with this rock in his hand. He said he would peg it to Gurteen. It fell off his little finger and it fell on this hill. Even to this day the print of his hand is to be seen in the rock.
