Whooping Cough
It is said that asses' milk and ferret's leavings are cures for the whooping cough.

A person who never saw his father has the cure for the foul mouth. The person who has the cure breathes into the child's mouth and prays.

A thorn ca be taken out by the tongue of a fox.
A Corn
Scoop a hole in a turnip and fill the hole with salt at night. The water that would be in the hole in the morning would cure the corn.
A stye
To point ten gooseberry thorns and throw away the eleventh is a cure for a stye on the eye. Rub black tea on a stye also cures it.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
