  1. The birds found in our district are, blackbirds, thrushes, wrens, robins, stairs, and crows.
    The blackbirds build in hedgerows, the nests are made of moss, sticks clay and bits of hay.
    She sits on the eggs for four weeks. When the young birds come out they are fed on insects such as worms and flies. The nests are round and opened at the top, the blackbirds lay from four to five eggs.
    The thrushes are another sort of bird that build in our district, they build their nests in bushes, they lay from four to five eggs, when the young birds come out, they are fed with worms, snails and berries.
    They sit on the eggs for four weeks, the nests are round and opened at the top.
