  1. The care of our farm animals
    The following is a list of our farm animals, cows, calves, pigs, a horse, turkeys, geese, hens and ducks. Some of the cows have got names such as - the high horn, the scotch, Manerhamilton, Thomas' cow, Dromahair and mag-pie, as for the horse his name is "Pride".
    While the farmer is driving the cows or calves to or from the meadow-field, he can be heard shouting after "How". The cow-house is called a byre and inside of it, half of the cows are tied to a stakes or iron rails and the rest to put on the opposite side. The byre has to be made a certain length and breath according to the number of cows which the farmer has it that each of them may have enough of place to be in. Each night they
