  1. Long ago the old people used much different food from what we use nowadays. They never drank any tea except plenty of milk. The bread they used was mostly oaten bread baked on a grid iton made for the purpose. They also used to eat plenty of porridge. In those days the old people were much stronger than they are at present and they carried heavy loads in tubs on their heads. There were no such things as ploughs int hose times adn the men turned the land with spades and only ate two meals in the day and were at work from dawn until dark.
