    Fairs are held in the neighbouring towns and villages on a special appointed day. Some of the towns are Bollooney, Ballisodare, Riverstown, Larkhill, Ballintogher and Dromehair.
    Fairs are not always held in towns but sometimes on the road out in the country, such as Carick-na-get and Ardnaglass.
    Cattle dealers used to meet the cattle at the cross-roads and transact business there in years gone by, but now they always buy and sell at the fairs or sometimes they might come to the farmer's houses and buy there
