  1. Once upon a time when St Patrick was coming from Cloon he walked round Adoon lake and there are stones with the tracks of his hands and knees in them. There is a stone at St Patricks well Aughavas with the track of his knee in it. St Patrick also had an altar at Cloone but the threw all the altar stones away and there is one stone that belongs it in Jimmy Dwyer's field outside the wood with a cross on it. There is a stone in Tom Conefrey's land Doneragh with a goose's foot on it.
