    The robin is a small brown bird with a red breast which builds a nest of hair and moss and lays five small eggs with brown spots.
    The Blackbird is a large bird which builds a nest of clay and moss in a bush and lays four blue eggs.

    The thrush is a large brown bird with a speskled breast which builds a nest like the blackbird and lays four eggs
    The Magpie is a large white bird with a black breast head and tail which builds a nest of sticks and hair and lays three eggs
    The swallow is a small brown bird with white feathers which builds her nest in a byre or old house.
    The Starling is a black bird about the size of a thrush which builds a nest of straw and hair in the eave of a house
