    He was also great for setting sprains. He would get a briar and he had certain words he used to say.     The old women in olden times had charms also. When they would want to steal milk or butter or anything from their neighbours they used have a hoop hanging up over the room door and they used to pass it over their heads and they would be turned into a hare immediately.
