  1. Once two men went to Castleisland fair. One man had a car and the other got a drive home. They travelled on till they came to Pike Cross. One man was from Banemore and the other from Ballyduhig. The man from Ballyduhig asked the other man to go to his house with him as it was so late. It was about 12 o'clock. He said "No" because his wife would be expecting him and would be troubled so he came on to Mountcoal. When he came to Stack's kiln near Tournageehy boundary he met a spirit who killed him. The other man dreamt of it and came to the place and found his comrade dead lying against the ditch. He saw a pig's tooth stuck in his friend'd throat. He took him home and buried him.
