    Never heeding she took to her heels as fast as she could, for some distance. Looking back she saw the figure was still there.
    When she went home she fainted. My grandmother shook holy water on her and she got her speech. The little girl told her the whole story and my grandmother said it must be St. Bridget, who was looking for alms for the poor that blessed Christmas night.
