  1. A very old man told me that my grandfather was a post man. When he was fourty years of age he carried the post from Corry to Manorhamilton a distance of fifteen miles. He had to cross a big Mountain. He did the work for seven shillings a week. He held the job for seven years.
    There were no roades to Manorhamilton at that time. That would be over a hundred and forty years ago.
