- In a village near Carna named Kilkerrin, a thunder storm is said to have done harm every year. On one occasion a great big house was burned. On another occasion cattle were burned by lightning in a field. A few years ago thunder and lightning came to the same village. The people began to say the rosary with fear. The lightning came down the chimney and knocked two young children that were standing on the floor. In another house in the same village a boy felt something strikeing his legs. The people are very much surprised about the thunder, lightning never strikes the village of Carna which is near Kilkerrin.
