- There was once a man who lived up near Dun Moyard. He had a horse in a field near Dun. He had the horse a long time in the field. The man had a bag tied on the horses tail. He thougth he would be fit to trick people, so he went down to the field one day. He saw that the grass was eaten up. One night he was coming home from card playing and he said that the fairies were eating all his grass. He had to pass Dun before he could get home. It was about twelve o'clock when he was passing Dun. He saw a big ligth in Dun, and a big door open. The next moment sixteen men came out. They caught him and brought near the cave. They hung him on a black thorn bush. When the people saw him, they used to run away. He was there until he rotted away. Ever since that time no leaves grow(continues on next page)
