  1. Monksfield is the name of my district. It is situated in the parish of Ballymona in the barony of Dunkellin. Six families reside there but yet the majority of them are old bachelors. The exact number of people is only sixteen. There are three thatched houses, and three slated houses. The first slated house was built twenty five years ago. The second slated house was built in the year 1935. The third house was built in the year 1936. Monksfield got its name because there was monks living in it long
