  1. This name was given a fort, (which is supposed to be one of the biggest forts in county Galway) situated in a field belonging to Mr. Colman King, Castleboy,
    Kilchreest,
    Loughrea,
    Co. Galway.
    The fort is eleven yards in height all round. The length all round. The length all round is two hundred and eighty yards. The are of the fort is three fourths of an Irish acre. There is a fence of earth and stores around the fort. About thirty yards away from that for there is a smaller fort shaped like a hillock. It is said that
