    gone. They followed him outside Loughrea and Daly knew he was done and that was the man that hanged Daly on the hill of Seefin. His people that took him down from the scaffold.
    He was hanged facing his own home two miles away. He could see it from the scaffold. His mother and sister brought his blood and scattered it on the gates of Iscer Clerans and Dunsandle and cursed both places. When Daly was about to be hanged he was asked if he had anything to say before he was hanged. Daly said "Although I have only one eye if I aimed at him I would surely bring him down". Those were the last words Daly spoke. He was buried at Killreeckle two miles from Loughrea there is
