the water and this is the rhyme Sic Leigheasanna at beginning of the note book.
There is a cure in the gall of a pig for a burn.
An ointment can be made up of the elders. First the elder is skinned and the stuff that is between the skin and the timber is boiled in a burner and mixed with unsalted butter. Then it is let boil slowly on a few coals on the hob. After that it is poured out in a box and let cool off and it is able to cure any deep cut. This a cure for a sty to prink at with a goose berry thorn on a Monday or a Thursday.
