   or stone of potatoes mixed with a little flour, mixed with hands and kneaded baked on a griddle supported on a brand. Several cakes called Stampy were made and eaten at meals

   "Stampy cake a d'ath mo chorp
   Agus Seán Ó Caoilte atá go bocht"

   A little invalid boy used to say in the evening after a long day:

   "Is truagh gan mo leaicín líoratha (?) (licked)
   Agus mo cheannín líortha agus me i m codladh."

   The lickeen (Leacín) served as a plate or dish: it was a little flag - they had no plates.
