  1. There is a well out at Conwell, and it is situated in a field neat the grave - yard. A lot of people go out to the well for a cure, but they must leave a piece of cloth or sometoken. I know a little girl and she had a wart on her finger. She went out to the holy-well and she washed her fingers in the holy-well, and she left a piece of cloth behind her. Next day the wart had disappeared from her finger.
It is said that a protestant man filled the well with stones, and some Catholic men had to fix the well. I was only once at that holy-well.
