    Pat Lynch and Michael Lynch were two brothers. They used to go to the bog with their spades and did up blocks of fir and split nit up in long stripes. Then they would split them over again until they were able to tar them with their hands and then they would start making ropes out of the stripes of fir Then they would bring them to the market and sell them.
