  1. A Song (continued)

Goodbye, goodbye, my dear old friends

    (continued from previous page)
    Where are my friends that
    in Dervin resided,
    Where the fat grazing cattle
    are now to be seen,
    They all have retired -
    their fate is decided,
And some sleep at home in
    their cold graves so green.
    Farewell Bunnavilla ! thy dark
    looking waters
    The steep frowning hills
    shall behold me no more.
I'll fly to the land of the fair
    rosy daughters
    That is watching and praying
    for Erin's green shore.
