    There is one dressmaker in this district and her name is Mrs Mangan. She lives in the village of Ballymacredmond about one mile west of Lahardane.
    She does not deal in cloth herself but she has a pattern book and she will send for the cloth you select and have it back in a few days.
    She makes dresses-frocks and costumes,-coats, and underwear for women and children.
    The charge is very reasonable - about 5s for a full-sized frock and 6s.6d for a costume.
    She turns out good work
