    thimble, needle, iron, scissors and a lap-board. He is an efficient tailor and reasonable in charge. For a man's suit he generally charges £1-3s-0d: for a suit for a boy about twelve years 13s-0d
    He learned the trade from his father, Pat Mac Neela, who died some five years ago. He has two brothers tailors also - Andrew and Martin. Andrew, a married man, and living in Crossmolina, carries on a flourishing business. He has one of his sons working at the trade also. Martin , a married man also, lives in Linen Hall St., Castlebar, in a good two-storey house which he keeps well stocked with all classes of cloths.
