    A cure for a bad cold is mint. It grows in swamps and has downy leaves, and a burning taste. It will cure a cold in 24 hours if eaten raw. There are little pink flowers on it. It grows very plentifully in rivers. Water-cress is eaten raw and is a good cure for poor blood
