Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)rose a terrible cry in the bed where the corpse lay - and people thought they felt something like a blast of wind going past them and out on the door. Nothing was seen but the weird cry was heard going through the house and out of the door and down the banks of the River Alderey it went towards the sea.
They were all very much frightened. The fun soon stopped and not one left the house until it was clear daylight.
Many of the people are still living who say this really happened at the wake.
The ruins of Rosie's house are to be seen close to a little bridge which spans the river Aldarey and near the Tullymore road abou tthree miles from Ardara.
