  1. Sheegus Hill is situated about one mile and a half from Ballyshannon. It is a large hill now covered with brambles and weeds. It is said that Finn Mac Cumhall was walking along this district he got tried. He sat down on a little mound on Sheegus Hill. After a little while he got and saw he had bruised down the bank. The old people say it was the weight of Finn Mac Cumhall that made this hollow.
