    Do réir m-athair ní bhíodh aon siopa ós comhair geata na reilge ach ar Lá an Earruig agus Lá an Patrún agus nuair a bheadh na misinéirí ag tabhairt miosún. Ar na laithe seo deineadh na páirtí leis na daoine aosta an rud seo : "Are you going to Patron?"
    Deireadh na daoine annsan - "I am".
    Deireadh na páistí "Fair'n on you?" agus gheobhadh siad leath-phingin nó pingin uaireannta.
    Bíodh siopa bréagán ag fear do'n leas-ainm "Seán Saor".
