    The above is a photograph of an old pike-head.

    The above is a photograph of an old pike head. It was given to the Master by Mr. William McGrath, Lyre West, who found it while digging in his garden. It is worn and rusty. George McGrath brought it to the Master who keeps it in the schoolroom.
    Its complete length is 22" and the breadth (from tip of crook to edge of axe) is 10 1/2".
