    Neither did he leave his own estate to go to church. He afterwards built a little church inside the gate of the lodge and got a minister to do service there. This church is not in ruins. After Lord Tyrawley's death Castle-Gore was inherited by a man the name of Cuffe and afterwards by Gore's and now it is called the Earl of Aran's ruins. It was burned on the first of September 1923.
