  1. I live in the townland of Clontakillew, in the parish of Ballina, in the Barony of Tirawley and in Co. Mayo. My house is situated (in [?]) about two miles from the town of Ballina, and about four miles from Crossmolina. There are seven families in my townland namely:- Gillespie, McDonnell, Egan, Munnelly, Moore, Jennings, and Doherty. In those seven families there are about forty people.

    Most of the houses in my townland are built of mortar and stones except one, and this is built of concrete. All the houses are built with a kitchen. About twenty
