  1. About fifty years ago there was an old house in the townland of Crannach, Knockanillaun, Ballina, Co. Mayo, and in the barony of Tirrawley. A woman that lived in this house and her name was Baby McAndrew. She is dead now about twelve years. Mrs. Cawley Knockadine has the land now.
    The fire was in the middle of the gable. The floor was made of mortar.
