    Sgéal: Bhí fear ag teacht abhaile ón mbaile mór oidhche amháin agus bhí sé ar meisge. Chuaidh sé amuigh agus c'én áit ar chuaidh sé ach isteach i gcoill. Níorbh fhada a chuaidh sé gur bhuail sé a cheann in-aghaidh crainn, "Gabh mo leith-sheal a dhuine usuail" ar seisean leis an gcrann, mar gur shíl sé go mba duine a bhí ann. Bhuail sé in-aghaidh crainn eile agus dubhairt sé an cainnt céadna. Thárla seo cúig nó sé uaire nó go raibh sé ag éirigh cuirseach. Annson shuidh sé síos. "Seadh" ar sean tá sé chomh maith dom suidhe annseo agus an t-sochraid a leigeadh tharm.
