  2. Long ago when a boy or girl wanted to get married the people would be making a match for them with some other boy or girl.
    If a boy wanted to get married he would send a friend or a neighbour to the house of a girl who wanted to be married.
    Then a whole crowd of neighbours would gather into the girls house and the boy would ask the girls father how much money he had for her and the father might say he had a great fortune for her, and they
