  1. On St. Patrick's day the people wear shamrock in honour of St. Patrick. A week or two before St. Patrick's day the people in Ireland send shamrock to their friends in America. The first day in February is St. Brigid's Day. On St. Brigid's night the men go out from house to house gathering money. They put on old coats and false faces. When they go in a house they play music and they dance also.
