    place in the parish of Knock called Baile na Cloiche because it is a very stony place. There is a very large stone in a field in Bekan. It is said that a long time ago some great man was buried there and that this big stone was placed over him. It is called the black man's stone. It is said that he was a black or a German.

    Sand-pit field because there is a sand-pit in it.
    Quarry field because there were stones quarried in it.
    Another is called the lay field because it was never ploughed.
    Páirc an Tobair is the name of another because there is a well in it.
    Páirc na Clasa because there is a hollow in it.
