    Sand-pit field because there is a sand-pit in it.
    Quarry field because there were stones quarried in it.
    Another is called the lay field because it was never ploughed.
    Páirc an Tobair is the name of another because there is a well in it.
    Páirc na Clasa because there is a hollow in it.
