    a priest. The priest crossed back through Millford. Seán was gaining very fast on him.
    There was a beggar man by the roadside. He saw Seán following the priest. He knew he would soon catch up with him and kill him. He took off his boots and lay down his bag. He had with him a blackt horn stick. He took this in his hand. He followed Seán and soon caught up with him.
    He caught Seán and held him, until the priest had gone a long distance. He then gave him a good beating with the stick. Seán never killed another priest, because he was killed himself the next week by a young priest.
