    paved yard. The men heard a noise and they listened intently.
    They knew the stable door was closed after the horses were put inside three hours before.
    The unknown man came on for the door and without opening it drew a barrow on into the stables.
    He then left it down right under where the men were and took a fork out of it. He started to hit the loft with the handle of the fork and the men overhead heard him.
    O'Malley was a courageous man and after two naps he said "Prod away boy." Then he got up and lit a match but it was quenched by an unseen person. The men heard no more that night but they would not sleep there any longer.
