  1. One night a man was returning from Claremorris. It was nine o'clock in the morning. His wife was sick and he was at the doctor. His brother died in America and he saw his corpse about a half a mile from his own house. When his sister was dead the hearse got broken at the same place. He tried to turn on the road but it failed him. He went tot he nearest house and when he came out the coffin vanished. If ever he went out on Saturday after that he would see the coffin again.
