  1. Our churn is six feet high and three feet wide, and it is about sixty years old It is a dash churn, and we make it once every week. My Father who makes it, and I help him, When the churning is made my Mother takes out the butter and makes it in rolls, then there does be buttermilk left in the churn and my Mother makes cakes with it, There is something said to happen anybody who brings in milk to a neighbour, it is said that persons cows never will have half as much milk as they used have
