  1. There is a holy well midway between Kellsallagh and Louisburgh. Visitors to Lacanvey and Kellsallagh visit the holy well and perform stations there. The well is situated in a graveyard in which are the ruins of an old abbey.
    In finishing the station, which is done on bare feet, if doing it for the living you walk on stream which flows from the well, and if doing it for the dead you walk on the grass. After leaving the stream or path you go to the
