“The domestic animals of the farm are, the horse, the cow, the pig...”
The Domestic animals of the farm are, the horse, the cow, the pig, the goat, the cat, the dog, the hens, the ducks, the turkey, and the geese.
Our cows names are, Daisy, Horney, Stewardy, Lizzie, the white head, and the red cow. When calling the cows or calves I say "suggy"! "suggy"! The cow-house is called the byre. There are six stakes in our byre and the stakes are joined by one strong pole, going from wall to wall.
the cows are tied round the neck, but some people tie their cows with ropes. When people are milking or doing anything with milk and if a person was passing he would say, "god Bless the work."
The names of our horses are 'Baldy' and 'Mowler'. The stable is where they live. The horses are clipped in the autumn.
Hens and chickens live in the hen-house. There are two poles (in our h) going from wall to wall and sticks across it. This is what the hens roost on(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
