    The Summer it was warm in the year of ninty eight,
    The run-a-boys says James McKague that neve was so great.
    Some of them came from Cornanaf and some of them from Skeagh,
    But the boys that came from Ash-field always took the sway.
    Its one of them a servant boy Frank Clarke it is his name,
    The other is in oppoisition the Sherrif Bobby Dane
    For Bobby Dane with Sarah Jane he has great favourite got,
    To get young lizzie for his wife he thinks it fully lot.
    But James is not contented For Frank
