  1. A Song (continued)

The Summer it was warm in the year of ninty eight

    (continued from previous page)
the first of all, For Frank's the boy (of all) can sing
the song Ould Jemmy from Grousehall.
For Frank he is dancing with Lizzie in his arms,
And Bob goes home and with his moan the neighbours he alarmed
Says Bobby Dane I'll try again and leave him in his luach,
For I'll go down next Sunday and walk with her to Church.
I will tell her stop her foolishness and not my heart annoy
And not be so mean as to speak again to a mean low servant boy
Now Bob I'm very sorry that Frank he is so poor
And forty here is is talked of it's more than I'll indure.
Reflect upon yourself and be sure and not go far
For it's not so long since you were hired with a man [?]
As Frank went over to help him The ass began to ball.
