    Mr. J.J. Hayden (70) has the cure to stop blood. This can only be handed on from a man to a woman in each generation.

    Farcy.
    Mrs. Coe living in Kilpipe parish, near Aughrim has a cure for farcy in horses.

    Thrush.
    It is generally believed that a person who has never seen his father has power to cure thrush in children.
