  1. In the parish of Riverstown there are about six graveyards. There is a graveyard in Ardagh called Templemore about two miles from Riverstown. There are some protestants buried there is an old story about the monks who lived in the monastery there.
    One day the monks asked the landlord's son to dinner. They had a sheep killed and the landlord's son, liking the mutton went home and told his father about it. The father decided to have the field for himself and he hunted the monks off it. When they were leaving
